Permit template
A reusable rule that defines how a category of permit (resident, guest, vendor, staff) is issued, priced, and enforced.
A permit template encodes everything about a permit type once, then applies it consistently. The template owns: who can be issued the permit, how long it's valid, what it costs (free, monthly, per-issuance), what stalls it grants access to, whether it auto-renews, how many active permits per user. Templates are scoped to a property; you'll typically have 5–15 per property. The biggest win of templates is auditability — when you change a rule, every future permit issued under that template gets the new rule, and you have a versioned history.
