Gate integration
The wiring between ParkDwell and a physical gate device — typically over relay, MQTT, or vendor API.
Gate integrations come in three flavors. Relay-style (a literal physical relay closed via Wiegand/Mercury controller) is dumb but reliable; we trigger an open, the gate goes up. MQTT-style is a serial-over-IP pattern where the gate publishes events and we publish commands. Vendor-API-style (HID, LiftMaster, Nice) sits over HTTP and is the most reliable but the least portable. ParkDwell supports all three via a thin abstraction; you pick the gate, we adapt.
